Bite-Sized Bake Off
The Pride were looking for an way to support the Alzheimer’s Awareness Project, so in June we hosted the Bimeda Bite Sized Bake Off. Employees were encouraged to make their best fun-sized dessert to compete with the other entries. Bakers could win in four categories: Best Name, Best Taste, Best Appearance, and Bimeda' s Best Baker.
The proud winners were Leah Krumrey, Mary Fries, Aaron Harmon, and Kris Lennartson. Campfire Crack was chosen as the best name amongst all the delicious creations. In true Pride spirit, we made sure that all proceeds were donated to a very good cause; the Alzheimer's Awareness Project.
Toys for Tots
The team at Le Sueur have great community spirit and, over the holiday season, the Pride was pleased to host a Toys for Tots toy drive. Our generous employees donated numerous games and toys for children in need, all of which were passed on to local Toys for Tots collection.
Soup-Off & Pumpkin Carving Contest
As fall approached the Pride wanted to organise a fun activity which would benefit our local food shelf. With temperatures cooling and Halloween fast-approaching, in October we decided to hold a soup making and pumpkin carving competition, with proceeds collected from participating in the judging, being donated to the local food shelf.
Adopt a Highway
Bimeda Le Sueur continues giving back to the community in the form of our Adopt a Highway commitment, where twice a year, our employees clean up garbage and debris along a section of a nearby highway adopted by Bimeda. This activity will continue to be a bi-annual event.
