Bimeda® US Expands SecureCattle® Product Line with New 50‑Dose (250mL) Size

Schaumburg, Illinois (January 8, 2026) – Bimeda US, a global leader in animal health solutions, is pleased to announce the launch of a new 250 mL (50‑dose) size of SecureCattle, giving producers a more flexible option for managing stress in cattle across all herd sizes.

SecureCattle is a high‑quality, pour‑on solution designed to improve productivity by reducing the impact of stress on cattle. The new 50‑dose presentation delivers the same trusted SecureCattle performance in a size ideal for smaller herds. Producers can expect the same easy handling with less product waste and a better fit for diverse operation sizes, making it a practical addition to any management program.

SecureCattle's proprietary formulation allows for simple, consistent application: a single 5 mL dose applied in one location on the back of the neck, regardless of age or weight. Since its introduction in 2020, millions of doses have been sold in more than 15 countries. Notably, all research published on maternal bovine appeasing substance (mBAS) prior to 2023 was conducted using SecureCattle.

Bimeda first introduced SecureCattle to the U.S. market in April 2025 with the 1000mL bottle, which treats 200 head. The addition of the 50‑dose size expands the product line to better meet the needs of operations of all scales.
