Bimeda Launches BimaGard™ 12.5% Liquid Concentrate

Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois (May 6, 2020) – Bimeda^®, a growing global manufacturer, marketer and distributor of animal health products, announced today their launch of BimaGard^™ 12.5% (tiamulin hydrogen fumarate) Liquid Concentrate. Indicated for use in swine, the product aims to help pork producers and veterinarians combat respiratory and enteric disease affecting their swine herd.

BimaGard is a water-soluble antibiotic, that can be administered to pigs of any age through their drinking water, for the effective treatment of swine dysentery associated with Brachyspira hyodysenteriae and swine pneumonia due to Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae.
